Additional Consultations

We have received the following additional information:

The following outreach events are planned over the next few weeks with a view to further profiling the project to the public, as well as answering any questions related to the Lakeview Waterfront Connection initiative:

Marie Curtis Park West Parking Lot near the Playground
Wednesday July 24th (11:00 am to 3:00pm).
Saturday July 27, 2013 (9:00 to 12:00am)
Monday August 5, 2013 (1:00 to 4:00pm).

Lakefront Promenade Park (11:30am to 3:00pm)
Saturday July 27th (10:00am to 2:00pm)
Saturday August 10 (11:30am to 3:00pm)
Saturday August 24 (11:30am to 3:00pm)

The timing for these events was based on identified opportunities such as a Mother’s Group who meet regularly at Marie Curtis Park (including tomorrow [July 24, 2013]), etc to try to maximize public profile, in addition to allowing for both weekday and weekend attendance at the parks. We will be presenting a series of landscape renderings of the proposed project and have only just finalized them, so we did not want to send out a notification until that was done.

The information noted above is currently being uploaded to the LWC webpage (www.creditvalleyca.ca/lwc) and notification will shortly be sent out to the Community Liaison Committee as well as those from the public who have expressed interest in being kept informed about the LWCEA.

Feel free to direct any additional questions to Michael Charendorff is who is coordinating consultation related to the LWCEA.

What is LWCA?

LWCEA stands for Lakeview Waterfront Connection Environmental Assessment, so far as I know. I stand to be corrected.
