The Fight for Bala is showing at 1.00.p.m. on Friday – as well as at 3.30 – at Waterdocs per the event schedule at http://ecologos.ca/water-docs-2016/

Rob Stewart is apparently expected to participate (via Skype) with Jonah in the Q&A after the 1.00 p.m. film showing .

The short documentary THE FIGHT FOR BALA is about saving a waterfall in Muskoka for future generations. It is by award-winning film makers Rob (“Sharkwater”) Stewart and Jonah (“A Sweet Spot in Time”) Bryson. It is presented as another example of a small community striving to preserve its priceless heritage from mindless destruction by a far-away and seemingly unaware and uncaring provincial government, now aided and abetted by the collaborating local mayor and his clique of councillors.
