Join us on Wednesday, May 10th from 6:30-7:30pm for the launch of From Land to Table on the Third Floor of the Student Welcome and Resource Centre (2 Colonel Samuel Smith Park Drive).

This photographic exhibit combines archival images and heritage recipes to trace the evolving agricultural history of the Lakeshore Grounds.

Learn how the Anishinaabe prepared manoomin (wild rice), read recipes for various passenger pigeon dishes, and see a beautiful collection of photographs featuring the Psychiatric Hospital’s farmland.

This exhibit has been curated by Frances Pereira-Jardine, our Curatorial Intern at the Lakeshore Grounds Interpretive Centre and a student in Humber’s Arts Administration and Cultural Management postgraduate certificate program.
