Our next MCHS Toronto luncheon is on Jan. 16, 2020; our next Kitchener event is on March 26, 2020
We had a good luncheon in Kitchener today attended by Scott, Dan, Terry, and Jaan. Other people had scheduling conflicts. One person had a cold and couldn’t make it.
At the Mandarin we had a good time as always. Among topics of interest were ways to stay safe (e.g. awake) when driving. We also shared anecdotes about being stopped without up-to-date license stickers, and the various ways that such situations get addressed.

Our next Kitchener event is at 1:00 pm Thursday, March 26, 2020. In the intervening months the roads in the Kitchener area are not good. We decided 1:00 pm is a good time as things get less busy and we’re in no rush.
As well, our next MCHS luncheon at the Mandarin restaurant on the Queensway in Toronto is at 12:30 pm on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020.
In Toronto, 12:30 sounds good as we’ve never had a problem booking for that time, in contrast to Kitchener. However, if there’s a preference for 1:00 pm in Toronto as well, we can change that.
Also, here’s wishing Bob Carswell a Happy 75th Birthday (on Nov. 18, 2109)!
When I informed Graeme Decarie in Ottawa he remarked at once: “Bob Carswell is 75? I’m so glad I’m still only 35..”
