What a brilliant set of class pictures showing the children growing through the years!

I think I went to Elmgrove School if it is now the one called Des Grands Etres, or perhaps Parkdale Elementary, in Cartierville. I went to both these schools back in the mid 1950’s but so much has (of course!) changed since then.

I live in the UK now and have been using Google Street to explore the area of part of my childhood and it is quite strange to be able to do so.

I was also thinking of how neat it is to see children growing up through the years. It’s good to know of what can be achieved, by way of using Google Street to visit places one knew from the past!

Hi Dave. You and I were best friends when we were kids. We lived next door to each other in the Elizabeth Street apartments the 50s. Bows and arrows, the bull rush swamps, Elmdale pack Cubs and Canadair jets. Please get in touch with me if you can. I have a lot to tell you. Search me out on Facebook. I too live in the UK now.
