The Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital Cemetery is located at the northeast corner of Horner and Evans Ave. in Toronto. Jaan Pill photo

To remember and honour in a dignified and respectful way the lives of the 1,511 people buried in the Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital Cemetery and to acknowledge their contributions to our community.

Markers for 23 WW1 Veterans were installed by “Last Post” in 2020.

Recently 32 Indigenous individuals have been identified at the site.

We will be gathering to do some yard work and freshen up the grounds. Grass/Hedge clipper and Lawn-edger will be useful. You are welcome to join us. Donations of artificial flowers would also be appreciated.
