Start of major renovation work

Phase I of major rehabilitation work at the Ahuntsic school, which consists of a complete interior stripping of the building, has begun. This operation should be completed at the end of summer 2023.
The second phase of the work, for its part, will make it possible to carry out the rehabilitation, redevelopment and bringing the building up to standard. More specifically, our school will benefit from new interior finishes, more functional spaces, new toilet blocks, new electromechanical components and new doors and windows. The playground will also be redesigned and greener.
Thanks to this project, our community will evolve in a healthy, safe, stimulating environment conducive to academic success.
Progress of work at the Julie-Payette pavilion
The renovation of the Julie-Payette pavilion at Fernand-Seguin school is complete.
Security measures
All measures are taken so that interventions are carried out safely according to high standards established by the Center de services scolaire de Montréal (CSSDM) and the organizations governing the field of work and construction.

Début des travaux de rénovation majeure

La phase I des travaux de réhabilitation majeure à l’école Ahuntsic, qui consiste en un dégarnissage intérieur complet du bâtiment, est débutée. Cette opération devrait être complétée à la fin de l’été 2023.
La seconde phase des travaux, quant à elle, permettra de procéder à la réhabilitation, au réaménagement et à la mise aux normes du bâtiment. Plus précisément, notre école bénéficiera de finis intérieurs neufs, d’espaces plus fonctionnels, de nouveaux blocs sanitaires, de composantes électromécaniques neuves et de nouvelles portes et fenêtres. La cour de récréation sera également réaménagée et plus verte.
Grâce à ce projet, notre communauté évoluera dans un milieu sain, sécuritaire, stimulant et propice à la réussite scolaire.
Avancement des travaux au pavillon Julie-Payette
La rénovation du pavillon Julie-Payette de l’école Fernand-Seguin est terminée.
Mesures de sécurité
Toutes les mesures sont prises afin que les interventions soient effectuées de manière sécuritaire selon des normes élevées établies par le Centre de services scolaire de Montréal (CSSDM) et les organismes régissant le domaine du travail et de la construction.
