Change in culture of decision making not easy but can be achieved

A March 1966 Harvard Business Review article by Chris Argyris is entitled: “Interpersonal Barriers to Decision Making.”

Given that the document was published in 1996, it’s also a piece of history. Among other things, it dates from an era where women were not expected to be present in leadership roles. Much has changed since then. Much remains the same. It is of value to revisit the 1960s from time to time. Fundamental points made in the article, about the challenges to making changes in the culture of decision making, remain of relevance even now.
