Local residents have expressed concerns regarding ‘community consultation’ process regarding 65 Fortieth St. in Long Branch

I have been following with interest recent email discussions concerning a proposed lot-splitting application, at the Etobicoke York Committee of Adjustment, for 65 Fortieth St. in Long Branch.

A ‘community consultation’, regarding the application, has been set up for Thursday, Sept. 11, 2018 at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, at the 2 Civic Centre Court in Etobicoke, the building where Etobicoke York Committee of Adjustment hearings are held.

Residents of Long Branch, including the chair of the Long Branch Neighbourhood Association, have noted that the applicant seeks to hold a ‘community consultation’ outside of Long Branch and during working hours. It has been noted that no updated plans have accompanied this application.

The purpose of the current post is to bring this topic to the attention of visitors to the Preserved Stories website.
