Many historical societies are at work along the shores of Lake Ontario. I have a keen interest in the work of each of them.

Sunday, March 9, 2:00 pm, Beach Canal Lighthouse Group’s General Meeting will be held at the Fortinos (Plains Road), Community Room, QEW-403 Centre (where Ikea is), 1059 Plains Road East (at Francis Road), Burlington.

Erno Rossi will be giving an illustrated presentation about the 1903 and 1926 Port Colborne Lighthouses at the southern terminus of the Welland Canal. Save Our Lighthouses is working under the Heritage Lighthouse Protection Act to acquire, preserve and open these lights to the public.
