I’m pleased to see that the Kids at Play sign on Hillside Ave. in Mimico is now on display

While driving along Hillside Ave. going east from Royal York Road this morning, I was delighted to see that the foliage from the Children at Play sign on the south side of Hillside has been cleared.

Some time back I contacted Ward 6 Councillor Grimes’ Office about the sign, which in the past has been hidden by vines and foliage. An email conversation with the office led to a couple of calls to 311 Toronto, and also an email to the Mimico Residents Association.

I was aware that City of Toronto staff have a lot on their plates, and knew that in time the work would get done. Now it has been done. What a delight that is! We owe thanks to many people, for ensuring that this sign is now again visible.
