The text of the message reads:

It is with great sadness that The Friends of Fort York and Garrison Common write to let you know that Stephen Otto passed away peacefully this past Sunday morning, April 22nd, in Toronto.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 11am Saturday, April 28, at the Chapel at Trinity College at the University of Toronto, 6 Hoskin Avenue, Toronto (+1.416.978.2522). There will be a reception to follow.  If so desired, donations to the Fort York Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
