Support for Peter Milczyn continues to grow in Etobicoke-Lakeshore
Toronto City Council members from across the political spectrum to join Liberal candidate at Sunday barbecue and door-to-door canvass
ETOBICOKE — Peter Milczyn, Ontario Liberal candidate in the Etobicoke Lakeshore byelection, enjoys a wide-base of support from his Toronto City Council colleagues. Many of his Council supporters will be joining Milczyn at a campaign barbeque on Sunday afternoon before hitting the pavement for a door-to-door canvass.
“I am humbled and grateful to enjoy such support from my Council colleagues.” Milczyn said.
The barbeque and canvass will be attended by Councillors Michelle Berardinetti, Ana Bailão, Shelley Carroll, and Karen Stintz, who is also chairperson of the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC).
Other Council members who are supporters but not able to attend include Josh Colle, Josh Matlow and Michael Thompson.
“The Council members who are supporting me are drawn from across the political spectrum, from left to right and from the centre,” Milczyn said. “It’s an indication of my track record of working together in a collaborative and collegial manner to provide the good government that people expect from their elected representatives.”
“It is the exact same approach the people of Etobicoke–Lakeshore can expect from me to help build a prosperous and fair Ontario and create jobs right here if they choose to send me to Queen’s Park as their representative.”
