[It’s taken me until July 30 to post it as I am on a Summer Schedule in my volunteer work at the Preserved Stories website.]

Message from Michael Charendoff:

Good afternoon,

The Region of Peel and Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) appreciates your continued interest and participation in the planning of the Lakeview Waterfront Connection Project Environmental Assessment (LWC Project EA), an exciting and important project that seeks to create a new natural waterfront park along the Lake Ontario shoreline in southeast Mississauga.

This is a message to let you know about a number of outreach events we have planned over the next few weeks, the goals of which are both to further profile the LWC Project to the public and to answer any associated questions. Staff from Credit Valley Conservation, Toronto and Region Conservation, and the Region of Peel will be on hand, presenting a series of landscape renderings of the proposed project, at the following locations / dates / times:

Marie Curtis Park East Parking Lot, near the Playground

Saturday July 27 (9:00 to 12:00am)
Monday August 5 (1:00 to 4:00pm)

Signs will be set-up in the Marie Curtis Park West parking lot directing members of the public interested in the Project to the display booth for more information.

A map of the location of the display is attached:

Marie Curtis Park

Lakefront Promenade Park, near the new Splash Pad

Saturday July 27 (10:00am to 2:00pm)
Saturday August 10 (11:30am to 3:00pm)
