Wesley Mimico Apartments Waiting List for future seniors/disabled persons housing, December 2012

Introduction: Wesley Mimico United Church has begun the process of discussing a renewed future for the Church and the site at 2 Station Road at Mimico Ave. The journey of exploration, led by The Faith and Hope Team has resulted in a mandate from the congregation to pursue a scenario of redevelopment that would “Repurpose, Renew and Add” to the existing structure.

Within the historic façade a new sanctuary/hall area on the ground floor, plus flexible multi-use community space are envisioned with affordable, owner-occupied apartments for seniors and disabled persons on the three floors above. The apartments will be sold, but prices are not yet available since it is too early in the development process.

If you would like to be kept informed of the renewal project’s progress and if you might be interested in receiving information about the apartments, we would be pleased to add your name to our general waiting list. You would be in the first group to receive new information. There is no obligation on your part.

If you are ready to make an initial fully refundable deposit of $100, it will secure a numbered place on the waiting list. Then when we are able to provide new details on future unit designs, location in the building and pricing, potential residents will be contacted in the order of their number on the priority waiting list.
