We will have a get-together at the Conference Room at the Stay Inn at 560 Evans Ave. starting at 7:30 pm on Friday, Oct. 16, 2015. All MCHS grads are invited to attend the get-together, whether they are attending the reunion or not. Same applies to the Brunch at Old Mill Toronto at 11:00 am on Oct. 18 the day after the reunion. However, we need to know by Oct. 11 if you plan to attend the Brunch which will cost $35 a person. Jaan Pill photo

Graeme Decarie

Graeme Decarie will not be able to make it to the reunion, because of family responsibilities that he must attend to. However, we will share an address that he has prepared, which will be read out at the reunion. As well, any student who wishes to get in touch with Graeme can write to graemedecarie1@gmail.com – or call 506-962-1497.

We will publish Graeme’s brief address, after it has been read out at the reunion.

Please note:

1) Below is the list as of Oct. 13, 2015.

2) The numbers attached to names are from the ID numbers we’ve used on a previous list.

3) We owe thanks to the Database Team (Howard Hight and Diana (McLagan) Redden) and other volunteers for helping us get these details into place.

We owe thanks to each person who is helping us, in a wide range of ways, as we proceed toward:

– the Oct. 16 get-together at 7:30 pm at the Stay Inn;
– Oct. 17 reunion at 6:00 pm at Old Mill Toronto
– Oct. 18 Humber River Walk at Old Mill Toronto at 10:30 am and Brunch at 11:00

We have done a taste testing of the bagels that we will be

4) When it comes to the reunion, what matters above all is each name on the list. With the exception of those who do not, indeed, wish to be the perceived as the star of the show, whose contrary wishes must also be respected, our approach to the reunion is that every attendee is the star of the show, the guest of honour.

5) I’ve added a few photos to add visual interest to the list; click on the images to enlarge them; click again to enlarge them further.

There are also hallways and places to sit outside the Humber Room where attendees can chat in quieter surroundings during the evening, if they wish. Jaan Pill photo

6) If any of the Spouses/Guests, that I have not yet contacted about this, has an age 17 or high school yearbook photo that they can share with us, please send a jpeg file to Jaan Pill at jpill@preservedstories.com

7) Please let us know if corrections are required on any detail related to the list. Contact Jaan Pill by email (see above), or by text or phone call at 416-722-6630. You can call me from anywhere in North America.

8) Privacy of information: Please let Jaan Pill know in the event you do NOT wish to have photos or videos of yourself shared online – such as through the Reunion website or Facebook – during or after the Reunion.

9) Contact information. As well, if you wish to get contact information for any other attendee, please speak to the person in question and write down the contact details on one of the supplied business cards – which we will provide as part of the Business card Game – or on the printout, in your Grab Bag, of the Attendee List. We seek to balance the desire to share information with the need to respect privacy.

10) We have prepared the following list, by graduation year, for your convenience, so that you have a sense of how many people from different graduation years are attending. Please note, however:

We will not be having seating at dinner tables by graduation year; people are free to sit wherever they want; and to move around from table to table as they wish. We are also free to wander into the foyer outside the Humber Room and along the hallways at Old Mill Toronto.

Alumni who registered but are no longer able to attend

A number of people have registered but are unable to attend due to reasons related to personal health, health of family members, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will share – with them and with all MCHS alumni that we are able to reach – extensive information about the Reunion via photos that we post online, and photos shared via the Newsletter. We will continue to encourage people to keep in touch, get together when they can, and in other ways engage in the sharing of our experiences as high school students or teachers who – many years ago – walked the halls of Malcolm Campbell High School.
