Heritage Toronto is hosting five War of 1812 Bicentennial Lectures

Hello,

I’m please to inform you of the upcoming War of 1812 Bicentennial Lectures coming up this spring.

Heritage Toronto will be hosting a series of five lectures to mark the 200th anniversary of the Battle of York.

The first, Perceptions of 1812: Identity, Diversity, Memory will be held on Thursday, March 21 at 7:00 PM at the Archives of Ontario.

Visit the new, state of the art facilities of the Archives of Ontario to hear curator and historian Dr. Ross Fair discuss his selection of original, War of 1812 related materials, pulled from the Archives’ vaults for the current exhibit.

Registration is required, visit www.heritagetoronto.org/lectures to register.
