MPP Laurel Broten’s Gems of the Lakeshore 2013 nominations

I’m pleased to share the following information – I like to fill out several such forms each year, and encourage you to do likewise – from Etobicoke-Lakeshore MPP Laurel Broten’s Office:

Do you know a GEM of the Lakeshore? The Gem of the Lakeshore was created to appreciate small business and service organizations that are unique to South Etobicoke and make our community a more vibrant place to live.

Anyone in the general public can recognize their favourite Etobicoke-Lakeshore small business or community organization within Ward 6 boundaries. The gem submissions will be reviewed by a community panel in conjunction with the Lakeshore Joint BIA Committee.

Completed forms will be accepted no later than April 12, 2013 by noon.

Help celebrate business and community organizations that make our community sparkle! Please join Laurel on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 8:00 pm at the Assembly Hall located at 1 Colonel Sam Smith Park Drive. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
