The May 13, 2013 article by Cynthia Reason begins as follows:

In an exercise merging past and present, old and new, Islington Junior Middle School – the second oldest elementary school in Toronto – started using BlackBerry PlayBooks this year to help archive and document remnants from its 180-year history.

A class of glove-clad Grade 4/5 students huddled over bins filled with old photos, documents, and newspaper articles (including a few historical Etobicoke Guardian clippings) Thursday afternoon in the Islington JMS library – documenting each piece of history on one of the school’s six new tablets, courtesy of EMC Canada.
