I’ve covered energy scams in a post of quite some time ago. It’s been among the most visited pages at this website. I would never have imagined that, had I not started to keep track of site statistics for this site.

By way of an update on this interesting topic, a Nov. 1, 2013 CBC article is entitled: “Door-to-door salespeople ‘aggressive’ and ‘intimidating’: poll.”

The subhead reads: “CBC Marketplace investigation into door-to-door sales reveals sales tricks.”

By nature, I’m suspicious of any door-to-door sales ploy, which has enabled me to be comfortable in generally not even getting the conversation started. I make the decision within about two seconds of the pitch.
