Several students from 11B (1962-63) including Neil Bacon and Colin Webb attended the Oct. 17, 2015 ’60 Reunion
Here’s a photo left to right of Janice (McGuire) Bacon, Neil Bacon (MCHS 1963), and Colin Webb (MCHS 1963). It was a delight to meet with Janice and Neil and Colin, some 50-plus years since Neil and Colin were students in 11B at MCHS in 1962-63.

We also have a group photo of the 11B classmates – including Scott Munro, Peter Fischer, Brian Barton, and Jaan Pill as well as Neil and Colin. That photo we will post later.
I screened for Neil and Brian some excerpts from the “Stay Awhile” documentary featuring The Bells; it’s available for purchase at iTunes for $10; to find the video, you just have to do a search at the iTunes site for “Stay Awhile documentary.”
Anybody who wants to can readily buy the video and view the complete documentary, which was made recently.
The photo that I’ve posted is by Walter Psotka, the Reunion’s official photographer. We will post, at the MCHS 2015 website, a large number of photos that he took, starting in the next while.
The caption for the photo, in the 1962-63 yearbook, reads:
Senior Soccer
The M.C.H.S. Senior Soccer team wound up the ’62 season with a real bang! The gang won all of their scheduled games and went on to beat St. Thomas Aquinas by a score of 1-0 in the city championships played at Kent Park. The last minute goal that won the game for M.C.H.S. was scored by Colin Webb. Bob Whyte did an excellent job of goaltending and Mr. Lafon (a St. Laurent High import) is responsible for inspiring his team on to the championships.
