Skedline.com – a great overview of daily news from Humber College media students. Interview with Jaan Pill among others regarding Remembrance Day

Humber College has a great daily live online broadcast, featuring Humber journalism students.

What a wonderful way to keep up to date on the news! I recommend this show highly!

I was interviewed today (Nov. 9, 2015) at the Humber College Lakeshore Campus, in connection with Remembrance Day. The students put together a great piece about Remembrance Day. The straw hat was purchased some years ago at So Hip It Hurts.

Skedline Live is at the Humber College website where work by Humber Journalism students is featured every day. It’s a great site – I’m pleased that I learned about the site today. As I understand, the show goes on air around 3:00 pm each day. It’s a great way show – fresh perspectives, excellent production values. I’m very impressed.

Humber Lakeshore Campus – L-Building

I was interviewed at the L-Building at Humber College Lakeshore Campus; I was there because I wanted to check out where the Room L-1017 is located.

A journalism student noticed I was wearing a Remembrance Day poppy and decided I would make a great interview subject.

Room L-1017, it turns out, is easy to find – it’s right on the main floor. You walk through the front door and it’s right across the open space in front of you. It has a name as well as a number; it’s called the Conference Room.

Two public meetings will take place at this room on Nov. 24 and Nov. 30, 2015, as noted in the links below:

Long Branch Neighbourhood Watch met at Thrive Restaurant at 4:00 pm on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2015

Formation of Long Branch Neighbourhood Association

Long Branch Neighbourhood Association Launch – Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 at Humber College L-Building, 7:00 pm
