In order to add to the discussion about the natural features of Long Branch, I am pleased to post this photo from Feb. 24, 2016 featuring a view in stormy weather toward Lake Ontario from the foot of Fortieth Street. Jaan Pill photo

Check this out. This beautiful owl kept warm from 9am to 3pm on the chimney of [a house on] Thirty Fifth Street today.

Have never seen one in the Long Branch area.
