Being able to have a record of what actually transpires at Committee of Adjustment meetings is a step forward, with regard to civic engagement and resident access to information.

The proposed OMB Reform legislation also refers, as I have noted at a previous post, to the future availability of word-by-word transcripts of the hearings of the tribunals that will take the place of the OMB.

Some of the things that I have heard, at COA and OMB hearings that I have attended in previous years, have consistently prompted me to think: “This is the kind of statement, by a decision maker, that would be useful to actually have on record.”
