Commentary

I’m pleased to have the opportunity to share David Godley’s monthly messages. It took me a while to figure out how to post such items quickly. What I do is this. I print out everything as PDF documents and then I post the documents.

This blog, which you are reading, serves as a community resource. The fact that people visit this website, and the fact that it serves as a platform for the sharing of information, is what makes it a community resource.

As I’ve noted earlier, I encourage other residents to do what I have done: Set up additional balanced, reasonably worded, evidence-based websites like the one you are now visiting.

Such websites are a great way for people to share information about local land-use issues. They’re also great for networking and reconnecting.

A previous post is entitled:

I encourage you to set up your own website about local history and land-use planning issues

The post outlines what is involved, in setting up and running a community resource such as the one you are now visiting.
