Update regarding photo from about 1927 of radial bridge over Highway 2 at Etobicoke Creek
In a previous blog post I’ve mentioned we’re seeking details about a photo from about 1927 at Etobicoke Creek.
This is the photo we are using to publicize one of the 2013 Jane’s Walks in Long Branch.
Jim Carr of Toronto sent me an email on March 24, 2013 in which he mentioned: “I googled the logo and found out about the Henderson Brothers and some of their history.”
I spoke by phone with Jim on March 25, 2013. He provided great details about the Henderson Brothers. I will track detailed information about the company and if possible about the motorcycle in the photo. I will post what I learn.
We owe many thanks to Jim Carr for helping us get started with this research.
Some details regarding the Henderson Brothers motorcycle can be found here.
Thank you so much for showing the wonderful photo of the 1927 Henderson.
I have one and love to see these pictures. If you ever find out anything about the people around bike I would sure like to know about it.
Thank you so much.

I’m really pleased you like the photo.
I’ve learned a bit about the Henderson bike and the history associated with it from books from the Toronto Public Library dealing with motorcycle history. I imagine you may have seen a blog post on this topic:
