The Wesley Mimico United Church Faith & Hope Team invites you to attend the 7th Community Forum to be held on Monday, April 8th, 7:30 p.m. in Wesley Mimico United Church, foyer area (enter by main doors).

The purpose of the Community Forum is to continue the dialogue between the congregation and the community for improving and strengthening the plans for Wesley’s renewal in the Mimico Lakeshore area.

Children are welcome to come and settle into a quiet area adjacent to the meeting space.

We regret that we are not able to provide supervised child care.

The agenda will include:

Welcome, Introductions, Regrets, Centring
Reminder of the Project Vision Statement & Conceptual Graphics

Updates by the Consulting Team: Deirdre Gibson; Robert Reimers; Bob Martindale

– Re-zoning application
– Consultants’ studies
– Next steps in planning

Housing for Seniors and Persons with disabilities – Expressions of Interest – Life Lease Tenure

Friends Raising Project – inviting support for the project

1. Town Hall conversation about the Planning Department’s proposed Mimico 20/20 Secondary Plan.
Information sharing. Hearing perspectives. Exploring questions, like what happens if the Secondary Plan is rejected?
Moving ahead together. Hosted by Mimico Lakeshore Network. All welcome.

Wednesday, April 3, 7:00 p.m. in Wesley Mimico United Church, enter by main doors.

2. Etobicoke York Community Council considers Mimico 20/20 Secondary Plan.
Public and formal consideration of Plan. Deputations by individuals and groups. Recommendation to City Council.

Tuesday, April 9th, 7:00 p.m. in the Etobicoke Civic Centre Council Chambers. 399 The West Mall.

3. Join your friends and neighbours to help clean up the Mimico Waterfront.
Garbage bags and gloves will be provided. Meet at 10:30 am in Amos Waites Park
