Feeling Congested – Transportation and Congestion Study Starts Phase 2

Phase 2: Making Sound Decisions

In early June, the City of Toronto officially kicked off Phase 2 of the “Feeling Congested” transportation public consultation campaign, which focuses on:

(A) an introduction to the concept of designing “Complete Streets” in Toronto;

(B) a draft bicycle policy framework; and

(C) a decision-making framework to help identify Toronto’s rapid transit priorities.

The goal of “Feeling Congested” is to engage Torontonians on a range of issues related to transportation planning, priorities and funding. This work will continue to support and inform the ongoing comprehensive 5-Year Review of the city’s Official Plan transportation policies, the development of a new long-term transportation plan, and the development of a funding & investment strategy.

The deadline for Phase 2 public feedback is on July 30th.
