Upcoming outreach events (August 18 and 24, 2013) regarding Marie Curtis Park and the Lakeview Waterfront Connection Project

The following information is based upon a message shared by CCFEW – “Citizens Concerned about the Future of the Etobicoke Waterfront.”

The Lakeview Waterfront Connection Environmental Assessment Project involves the creation of a new natural waterfront park along the Lake Ontario shoreline in southeast Mississauga.

Upcoming outreach events are planned over the next couple of weeks, the goals of which are to further profile the project to the public and to answer any questions.

Staff from Credit Valley Conservation, Toronto and Region Conservation, and the Region of Peel will be on hand, presenting a series of landscape renderings of the proposed project, at the following locations / dates / times:

Marie Curtis Park East Parking Lot, near the Playground
Sunday, August 18 (1:00 to 4:00pm)

Lakefront Promenade Park, near the new Splash Pad
Saturday August 24 (11:30am to 3:00pm)
