Two additional messages from Harry Chan (MCHS 65) at previous MCHS post

Harry Chan

I was pleased to open my email messages this morning and to find two great comments, via my Preserved Stories website, by Harry Chan (MCHS 65). You can access the new comments as additions to a previous post, and I’ve posted them below as well, by way of bringing your attention to them:

“We had quite an interesting class and teachers”

Greetings Marge

Have not been back here for a while. We had quite an interesting class and teachers. I think that for Montreal folks, it’s one or two degrees of separation. My daughter had Mr Lewis’ son as a science teacher, and Robert Muir’s daughter had Mr. Decarie as a history teacher at Concordia. Calgary sure has grown. Lots of friends have moved there, most recently a niece (environmental toxicologist)!

Good to know where you are these days.

“Four of my five brothers and families live in Dollard des Ormeaux and Pierrefonds.”

Greetings David

I remember you well. I think your parents were from England, and you lived on O’Brien ? I also recall that you were a fast sprinter on track and field days. Interesting that you went east; so many went west. Great to know a bit about where you are after all these years.

Four of my five brothers and families live in Dollard des Ormeaux and Pierrefonds. One brother lives in Alberta and is married to an Albertan.

Make your registration cheques out to “MCHS 2015”

The previously noted comments are posted at Harry Chan (Class of 65) shares with us some great MCHS Sixties memories.

Today I’m working on the report for the great Oct. 29, 2014 MCHS Sixties Reunion organizing committee meeting that was held in Kitchener.

By way of providing an initial message related to the Oct. 17, 2015 (that is, next year) MCHS Sixties Reunion, here’s a quick overview of the registration procedure:

The reunion database that Diana Redden and Howard Hight have been building for several months will serve as the registration form. If you wish to add your name to the database, please contact Howard Hight at

The registration fee is $150 for single tickets and $250 per couple. That is, in the latter case, $150 applies to MCHS Sixties graduates, with $100 applying to their spouse.

Please make all payments in Canadian currency.

Please make cheques payable to MCHS 2015.

Please send your registration fee to:
