To Members, Resident and Ratepayer Executives:The appointment of members to the Committee of Adjustment are up for renewal or replacement for this 4-year Council term from 2014 to 2018.One of the surest ways to make positive change at the Committee of Adjustment is to ensure the right people are appointed to the 4 district panels – Toronto/East York, North York, Etobicoke and Scarborough – that are qualified to make the decisions to approve, modify or refuse development applications that seek to vary from the zoning by-laws and/or other delegated planning matters such as consents.

We all know that Committee of Adjustment decisions may and do have a profound impact on residents across the city.  Let’s improve the outcomes for everyone —

APPLY TO BECOME A PANEL MEMBER FOR THE COMMITTEE OF ADJUSTMENT:

If you know of someone who understands the legislative framework, who has a keen interest in local development issues and who you think would make a good addition or change to the Committee of Adjustment please ask him/her to consider:
