Metrolinx Response Re: Mimico GO Station

In February, Metrolinx released a new business case analysis that included the recommendation to create a new Park Lawn GO Station in addition to operating the current Mimico GO Station. We provided more details of this proposal in our March Mimico Community News.

In response to this analysis the MRA sent a letter to Metrolinx supporting the two station solution and advocating for long overdue improvements to make the Mimico GO station accessible.

In April we received a response from Metrolinx which we have reviewed here.

I am impressed with how the MRA has organized the above-noted information. The links work well; the organization of the MRA website is exemplary; it’s a pleasure to visit such a website. I am aware of (and inspired by) the work and expertise that is required to set up and manage such a community site.
