Three questions

Three questions are of particular interest to potential attendees.

1. What do I get for $150? See FAQ page for answer. We’ll also have a video.

2. Why is the Reunion in Toronto, not Montreal? See FAQ page. Another video on that topic is also on the way.

3. Who’s Attending? See above.

The Database has steadily been growing; please contact Howard and Diana if you are not yet on the list

In order to be added to the Reunion Database, please send an email to Howard Hight at hahight@gmail.com or to Diana Redden at retiredredden@telus.net

The Reunion is for MCHS alumni who attended at any point in the ’60s, even if they graduated in the ’70s. If you attended one of the elementary schools, such as Cartierville School or Ahuntsic School, that many MCHS Alumni attended, you are also eligible to attend, even if you did not go to MCHS. In that case, you would be attending as a friend of the main MCHS ’60s group.

At this point as deadlines approach, any person who attended MCHS at any time even into the 1980s is welcome to attend the reunion. The focus is on the 1960s and 1970s but no-one will be turned away, until the maximum attendance gets toward 90 attendees, which we estimate at this point is not likely. We expect between 60 and 70 people will be at the reunion.

A Question via Facebook from an MCHS ’67 Graduate

“Just wondering, is Gabriel Gluck attending the reunion?” If anybody knows, please let us know. (I’m not very proficient at keeping track of names, but others excel at this task.)

Focus is not solely on early 1960s Alumni

While the organizing of this event began with MCHS graduates from the early and mid 1960s, the Reunion seeks to ensure that students from the 1970s feel equally at home, when we meet on Oct. 17, 2015 at Old Mill Toronto.

We also seek to encourage Alumni from across the graduation years to get to know each other now, and compare notes, at the ’60s Reunion – even if they never met, because they attended at different times – while they were actually at MCHS! As MCHS Alumni, whatever years we attended, we have a lot to learn from each other – about the past, the present, and the future.

Teachers

Graeme Decarie will not be able to make it to the reunion, because of family responsibilities that he must attend to. However, we will share an address that he has prepared, which will be read out at the reunion. As well, any student who wishes to get in touch with Graeme can write to graemedecarie1@gmail.com – or call 506-962-1497.

We will publish Graeme’s brief address, after it has been read out at the reunion.

We are pleased to say that  Soryl (Shulman) Rosenberg will be attending the reunion.
